神就造出空氣、將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了．事就這樣成了。(創世記 1:7)

• 天上的天、和天上的水、你們都要讚美祂。(詩篇 148:4)

大地

神說、天下的水要聚在一處、使旱地露出來．事就這樣成了。神稱旱地為地、稱水的聚處為海．神看著是好的。(創世記 1:9-10)

(01) 地的形狀

• …地面改變如泥上印印．萬物出現如衣服一樣。(約伯記 38:14)

大地的圓圈

• 神坐在地球大圈之上、地上的居民好像蝗蟲．他鋪張穹蒼如幔子、展開諸天如可住的帳棚。 (以賽亞書 40:22)
• 他立高天、我在那裡．他在淵面的周圍、劃出圓圈。(箴言8:27)

(02) 大地安息

• 現在全地得安息、享平靜．人皆發聲歡呼。(以賽亞書 14:7)

(03) 地的根基

• 我立大地根基的時候、你在哪裡呢．你若有聰明只管說罷… (約伯記 38:4)
• 將地立在根基上、使地永不動搖。(詩篇 104:5)

當耶和華將亞摩利人交付以色列人的日子、約書亞就禱告耶和華、在以色列人眼前說、日頭阿、你要停在基遍．月亮阿、你要止在亞雅崙谷。於是日頭停留、月亮止住、直等國民向敵人報仇．這事豈不是寫在雅煞珥書上麼．日頭在天當中停住、不急速下落、約有一日之久。(約書亞記10:12-13)

停留、止住的是日月—不是大地

以賽亞說、耶和華必成就他所說的、這是他給你的兆頭．你要日影向前進十度呢、是要往後退十度呢。希西家回答說、日影向前進十度容易．我要日影往後退十度。 先知以賽亞求告耶和華、耶和華就使亞哈斯的日晷向前進的日影、往後退了十度。（列王紀下20:9-11）

日影後退的是太陽—不是大地

神明明的說：「我手立了地的根基、我右手鋪張諸天、我一招呼便都立住。」（以賽亞書 48:13）

信的根基—永不動搖

他像一個人蓋房子、深深的挖地、把根基安在磐石上．到發大水的時候、水沖那房子、房子總不能搖動．因為根基立在磐石上。 (路加福音 6:48)

(04) 地的柱子

• … 地的柱子屬於耶和華、他將世界立在其上。(撒母耳記上 2:8)

(05) 地的角石

• 地的根基安置在何處．地的角石是誰安放的。 (約伯記 38:6)
• 並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上、有基督耶穌自己為房角石．(以弗所書 2:20)

(06) 天的柱子

• 天的柱子因他的斥責震動驚奇。(約伯記 26:11)

03──THE UNIVERSE FROM THE BIBLE (The Earth)

Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. (Genesis 1:7-NKJV)

• Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,And you waters above the heavens! (Psalm 148:4)

THE EARTH

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:9-10)

(01) Shape of the Earth

• The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its hills stand out like the folds of a garment.  (Job 38:14-Berean Study Bible)

CIRCLE OF THE EARTH

• It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. (Isaiah 40:22-NKJV)
• When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep. (Proverbs 8:27)

(02) THE WHOLE EARTH IS A REST

• The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. (Isaiah 14:7)

(03) THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE EARTH

• Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? … (Job 38:4)
• You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever. (Psalm 104:5)

 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. (Joshua 10:12-13)

It is the sun and the moon that stood still and stopped—not the earth

Isaiah said, “This will be the special thing for you to see from the Lord, to show that the Lord will do what He has said. Will the shadow go ten steps farther, or go back ten steps?” Hezekiah answered, “It is easy for the shadow to go ten steps farther. But let the shadow turn back ten steps.” So Isaiah the man of God cried to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow back ten steps, on the steps set up by King Ahaz. (2 Kings 20:9-11-NLV)

It is the sun’s shadow that went back ten steps—not the earth

God said, “My hand put the earth in its place. And My right hand spread out the heavens. When I call to them, they stand together. “(Isaiah 48:13-NLV)

THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE FAITH

He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. (Luke 6:48-NKJV)

(04) THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH

• … For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He has set the world upon them. (1 Samuel 2:8-NKJV)

(05) THE CORNERSTONE OF THE EARTH

• To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone. (Job 38:6)
• having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20)

(06) THE PILLARS OF HEAVEN

• The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. (Job 26:11-KJV)
